Reading Buddies
Time: 3:30-4:30pm and 6:30-7:30pm Ages: 4 and up
For children ages four and up. High School student volunteers will share the joys of reading with children, while family members make a reading game to take home to play with their child. Support your child's love of books and reading. Receive free books every 4th visit.

Kid's Adventure Garden
Time: 11am-3pm Ages: All ages

Come play in the tree house and in the dinosaur garden! This is a free event. Closed when it's raining.

Children's Zoo Show

Come visit the aimals, see a show, and take a tour.

The Lakes Kid's Club

       Thousand Oaks Farmers’ Market will be open Thursdays (2 to 6:30 p.m.) 

 

At the market, the public can find a variety of garden fresh produce, flowers, eggs, nuts, honey, bakery items, potted plants and more provided direct to the consumer from California farmers.

 

The Thousand Oaks Farmers’ Market is held on Thursdays in the temporary location at 403 West Hillcrest Drive from 2 to 6:30 p.m.

Saturday rides for all abilities begin at the Countrywide parking lot at Wilbur Rd. & Hillcrest Dr. in Thousand Oaks. The Red (Advanced) Ride starts at 8:30 a.m from Westlake Village at Agoura Rd. & Village Glen (near P6 restaurant).

Chumash Nature Hike
Time: 9 am Ages: All
The guide will discuss Chumash lore ad legend, native flora and fauna on a four mile round trip hike through Chumash Oakbrook Park. See majestic oak groves, wildlife, Chumash village, mortar stones, and pictograph caves. Wear comfortable shoes, bring water and a camera. Adults $10, Ages 6-11 $5, Ages 5 & under FREE. Reservations required.
